Nora E. Eppinger, 54, of Mercer Street died Tuesday at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot after a short illness.

Born June 7, 1953, in Butler, she was a daughter of the late Paul F. and Ruth Graham Wilson.

She was a 1971 graduate of Butler High School and was a homemaker. She had worked at Pullman Standard until the company closed, and then she worked at Trinity Industries until it closed.

She was a Roman Catholic. She enjoyed gardening, being with her cats and dogs, being with her family, and playing poker.

Surviving are a daughter, Tammy Lee Eppinger of Butler; five brothers and their wives, Thomas and Kelly Wilson of Butler, David and Donald Wilson, both of Fenelton, Paul and Patti Wilson of Butler and James Wilson of Fenelton; seven sisters, Janet Smink of Fenelton, Mrs. James (Linda) Shuler and Mrs. Charles (Gertrude) McPherson, both of Butler, Rose Wilson of Fenelton, Rita Demarest of Butler, Donna Wilson of Fenelton and Mrs. Dewayne (Ruth) Turner of Herman; her companion, Donald Kastelic of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A brother, a sister and a nephew preceded her in death.

<B>EPPINGER</B> — There will be no public visitation for Nora E. Eppinger, who died Tuesday, March 18, 2008. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be at St. John Cemetery in Coylesville. Cremation services provided by <B>Geibel Funeral Home.</B>Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
