Alma Baker Clifford
Alma Baker Clifford, 97, of the Golden Living Center in Meadville, formerly of Linesville, Crawford County, died Tuesday at the Meadville Medical Center.
Born Dec. 14, 1910, in Butler County, she was the daughter of Thomas Wilson and Bertha Logan Baker.
She attended the Middlesex High School and graduated from Har-Brack High School in 1929. For many years, she was a secretary in the refrigeration business in Pittsburgh.
Mrs. Clifford attended the Linesville United Methodist Church. She also belonged to the Sunshine Club in Linesville.
Survivors include a son, Donald L. Baker of Linesville; two stepdaughters; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a niece, and a nephew.
Her husband, Harry G. Clifford, whom she married Oct. 19, 1972, died Sept. 10, 1988. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Florence Davis.
<B>CLIFFORD</B> — Friends of Alma Baker Clifford, who died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Royal-Coleman Funeral Home</B>, 6028 U.S. Highway 6, Linesville. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joy Blackburn, of the Linesville and Harmonsburg United Methodist churches, officiating.
