Paul D. Critchlow
Paul D. Critchlow, 75, of Eastwood Village, Butler, died at 12:37 a.m. Sunday in Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 16, 1932, in New Castle, he was the son of the late Harold William and Fae Phillips Critchlow.
Mr. Critchlow was an insurance agent for the Western Southern Life Insurance Co., and retired in 1976.
In his younger years, he enjoyed playing softball at Franklin Field, and he also was a private pilot. He was a veteran of the Air Force, serving during the Korean War and was based in England.
Surviving are his former wife, Diane Stepp Critchlow; three sons, Paul Critchlow, Jr. and his wife, Lisa, and Douglas Critchlow, both of Butler, and Keith Critchlow and his wife, Amy, of New Galilee, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Peter (Cynthia) Montgomery of Pasadena, Calif.; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth Shaffer of New Castle and Mrs. Dane (Myrtis) Kornrumpf of Highland, Calif., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Critchlow was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and James.
