Hinderliter's 1-hitter helps Knights

Colin Hinderliter pitched a one-hitter as the Knoch baseball team rolled over Highlands, 6-0, Tuesday.

Hinderliter had nine strikeouts and three walks in the complete-game win.

John DeWalt led the Knights' offense with three singles and two runs.

Knoch (3-3, 3-2) will host Mars today.

In other games:

• Josh Daley and Jarod Agostino each drove in two runs in a six-run sixth inning as Slippery Rock posted a 6-4 victory over Commodore Perry.

• Neil Scott's double in the top of the fifth inning was Union's lone hit in a 10-0, six-inning loss to Redbank Valley.

• Cameron Turner homered, but Karns City lost a home game to Clarion-Limestone, 7-4.
