SRU reliever Craig Misiewicz pitched two innings, striking out four and allowing just two base runners (one on an error) to pick up the win.

The Rock (18-14, 7-5) lost the first game after collecting just five hits off of Lock Haven's Pat Young, who pitched a complete game with eight strikeouts in the 4-1 decision.

Justin Dickert went the distance for SRU, striking out five and walking two.

In Saturday's action, SRU swept the Bald Eagles by scores of 9-3 and 10-4 at Critchfield Park.

Chris Squeglia highlighted the first win by striking out eight and surrendering just four hits in a complete-game performance.

In Game Two, Scott Bender, Billy Herman and Adams all collected two hits to pace The Rock's offense.

The win on the mound went to SRU starter Rich Hocanson after pitching four of the seven innings, giving up two runs on two hits.

He added four strikeouts and walked five.

Stacey Rhoades, Lisa Getgen and Shauna Walker combined to shut out Clarion in both games of a doubleheader as The Rock won by scores of 3-0 and 9-0.Rhoades was the star of Game One, surrendering just three hits and walking one.Getgen pitched the first four innings of the second game to earn the win.Walker closed out the action by pitching a scoreless inning of relief.SRU centerfielder Courtney Vincent tallied two hits in both games.
