6:24 p.m. Saturday — Brian Anderson, 23, of Penn Township is accused of busting the door frame of a West Pearl Street apartment.Anderson told police he went to the apartment looking for the tenant, Bobbie Sue Edes, who earlier had borrowed his Dodge Durango but had not returned the sport utility vehicle.He said he accidentally broke in the back door because he "was pounding too hard" on it, after beating on it but not getting a response. Edes, 28, who was inside, locked herself in a room and called 911.She first denied knowing Anderson, according to a police report; however,Edes later admitted she knew him and that he had loaned the vehicle to her.She said she had placed the keys to the vehicle in her mailbox and notified Anderson where the keys were, the police report said.Anderson is charged with trespass and criminal mischief; police said Edes faces a charge for false reports to law enforcement authorities.2:05 p.m. Saturday — William Leroy Woodard, 41, of Cabot was arrested for driving under the influence on West Brady Street. Police said Woodard also was cited for driving without insurance.

Saturday — Three people were arrested for driving under the influence during a roving DUI patrol throughout the county.Police said 60 vehicles were stopped and, in addition to the DUI arrests, 15 people were cited for underage drinking. Officers also wrote 15 traffic tickets, issued 18 warnings and made one drug-related arrest.

Sunday — Police reported they are looking for Samantha Layne Boucher, 22, who is accused of taking a debit card from a Penn Township home and using it to buy items worth more than $350. Police noted warrants have been issued for Boucher's arrest.2:50 a.m. Saturday — Nicholas Kinnear, 22, of Hilliards was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his car collided with a sport utility vehicle on Old Brick Road in Washington Township. Jill Troutman, 39, of Petrolia was driving the SUV.11 p.m. Friday — Eight juveniles, who police did not identify, were cited for underage drinking at a loud party at a Lyon Lane home in Lancaster Township.8 p.m. Friday — Linda J. Pappas, 48, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUI on South Duffy Road in Butler Township.4:30 a.m. Friday — Brandon L. Crowe, 27, of Arnold, Westmoreland County, was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his car struck a concrete bridge barrier on Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township.

Friday — A blue-gray, 2000 Dodge Intrepid was stolen from a Main Street home in Rimersburg.Police said a suspect, who was not identified, entered the victim's home, took her car keys from the kitchen table and stole the vehicle.Anyone with information about the vehicle theft is asked to call the barracks at 814-226-1710.

10 p.m. Sunday — Cars driven by Elizabeth A. Slater, 22, of Sarver and Michael Gromley, 18, of New Kensington, Westmoreland County, collided on Route 28 in East Deer Township, Allegheny County.Police said Slater, who was treated at Allegheny Valley Hospital in Natrona Heights for minor injuries, was cited for driving too fast for conditions and careless driving.State Police, Mercer7:50 p.m. Thursday — Charles Brady, 36, of Mercer is accused of stealing a car from a Mercer-Butler Pike home in Liberty Township. Authorities recovered the car, owned by Robert Shaw of Grove City, about an hour later at a Mercer County business.Police said Brady was arraigned on theft-related charges, and placed in the Mercer County Jail.April 6 — An unknown burglar between 3 and 7 a.m. stole about $1,500 after breaking into the Bowl O Drome bowling alley in Pine Township.April 6 — Several undisclosed items were stolen between March 28 and April 6 during a burglary at a shed/camp building at Kimberly Estates in Pine Township. David Jewell of Grove City owns the stolen property.
