Penn State loses LB Lee for year
STATE COLLEGE — Penn State linebacker Sean Lee tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in practice, likely leaving the Nittany Lions without their defensive leader this season.
Lee, who injured the knee in practice Friday, will have surgery within the next month and will need about nine months of rehabilitation after that.
The team said in a statement that Lee will likely be sidelined for the 2008 campaign.
