Park

W. Robert Park, 82, of Middlesex Township died Monday evening at the North Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center, Wexford.

Born in Butler, July 20, 1925, he was the son of William D. and Maude Martin Park.

He was the owner and president of the family-owned Park Products, an egg production plant in Middlesex Township. He also was a past president of the Pennsylvania Egg Board and was the 1981 Pennsylvania Farmer of the Year.

Mr. Park was a member of the Valencia Presbyterian Church, the John E. Mair Lodge 729 F&AM, the Syria Shrine and was a past president of the NACO Caravan.

He had been president of the Mars School Board and was a former member and past president of the Rich-Mar Rotary Club, where he also was a Paul Harris Fellow. He was an avid golfer and was a past president of the Butler Country Club.

Surviving are two daughters, Kathy Yingling of Valencia and Mrs. Al (Peggi L.) Weymouth of Springfield, Ill.; two sons, W. Roy Park (Kathy) of Valencia and Robert D. Park (Joan) of Penn Township; two sisters, Marge Adams (Tom) and Betty Danner (Bob), both of Valencia; and three brothers, Wayne Park (Roma) and Dean Park (Lois), both of Valencia, and James Park of Florida. He was the grandfather of Christi Hilliard, Debbie Turner, Toby, Tyler and Emily and Andy Park; and great-grandfather of Braden Hilliard and Savana and Mikayla Turner.

His wife, Aimee L. Federkeil Park, whom he married Oct. 1, 1945, died Feb. 26, 2007.

<B>PARK</B> — Friends of W. Robert Park, who died Monday, March 10, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Valencia Presbyterian Church, 80 Sterrett St., Valencia, with the Rev. Gary Weston officiating. Please meet at the church.
