5:54 p.m. Friday — David John Olson, 43, and Justin Lawrence Olson, 23, both of Chicora, were charged with harassment/physical strike following a fistfight at a Hallstein Street residence.9:36 p.m. Thursday — Someone stole a silver 1999 Ford Contour with Pennsylvania Registration FXC8604 and belonging to Tressa Young of Butler from the A-plus on East Jefferson Street. The vehicle was last seen westbound on East Jefferson Street. Anyone with information should call police at 724-287-7743.6:18 p.m. Wednesday — Phillip Phillips, 20, of Butler was charged with simple assault, simple assault/fear of injury and criminal mischief after he allegedly punched his 9-year-old brother, threatened to do the same to his 3-year-old brother then smashed two phones to prevent his mother from calling the police. Phillips is in Butler County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond.
10 a.m. Friday — Someone stole about $1,000 worth of tractor parts belonging to David C. Oplanick, 57, of Walkersville, Md., from a farm on Moose Road in Connoquenessing Township between 8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Friday. Any one with information should call police at 724-284-8100.11 p.m. Thursday — Michael Shawn Wolf, 35, of Butler was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment after he allegedly grabbed a 16-year-old girl by the neck and threw her around their Herman Road residence during an argument.Noon Thursday — Someone broke a window in the school building at 1661 Oneida Valley Road in Concord Township, then entered and damaged different parts of the building before forcing open a garage door next to the school house belonging to Fred Monroe Schrecengost, 79, of Sligo, Pa., between noon April 4 and noon Thursday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.11:30 a.m. Thursday — Someone forced open the basement door of the residence at 1671 Oneida Valley Road in Concord Township and stole a Craftsman tool kit valued at $500 and belonging to Robert C. Blankenship, 44, of Karns City between 3 p.m. April 6 and 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.Thursday — Someone entered the vacant house at 180 Thorn Run Road in Oakland Township, stole some tools and cut out the copper plumbing belonging to Kirby Kieth Litzenberg, 45, of Karns City between April 4 and Thursday. Any one with information should call police at 724-284-8100.9 p.m. Wednesday — Someone between 8:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. Wednesday broke into a home at 7162 Country Club Road in Franklin Township and stole $3,165 worth of items belonging to Susan J. Viviano, 52, of Butler. The items included two gold coins, two gold chains, a Seiko watch, a 19-inch LCD Insignia TV and a Sony camera with a zoom lens in a black case. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.3 p.m. Monday — Someone stole a white Roper washer and dryer belonging to Misty Autumn Hamersley, 24, of Butler from the garage at 284 Pinehurst Road in Center Township between 3 p.m. March 24 and 3 p.m. Monday.
8:55 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Douglas Angeletti, 36, of Grove City crashed on Interstate 80 in Lackawannock Township. No injuries were reported.3:25 p.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Adam L. Kemmerling, 32, of Grove City and a truck driven by David R. McDowell, 53, of Grove city collided on Route 173 in Wolf Creek Township. Kemmerling was not wearing a seat belt and was taken by helicopter to Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh. McDowell was wearing a seat belt and was not injured. Kemmerling was cited for limitations on overtaking on the left.
