Eva Leonard

Eva Leonard, 95, of Twining Village in Holland, Bucks County, peacefully passed away Saturday at the Twining Village Health and Care Center.

She was born in Butler, Feb. 15, 1913, and was a graduate of The Butler Business College.

Mrs. Leonard had worked for the Bureau of Public Roads of the federal government in Washington, D.C., for more than 13 years before moving to Morrisville, Bucks County, in 1948.

She was a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program for more than 10 years. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, served as treasurer of St. Theresa's Guild for more than 30 years and was a member of the Morrisville Senior Service Center and the Lower Makefield Seniors.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Melanie L. and Dr. Robert A. Mason, of Buskirk, N.Y.; two sons and two daughters-in-law, John D. and Mary Jane K. Leonard of Newtown and David E. and Jane M. Leonard of Skillman, N.J.; seven grandchildren, Shannon Robert, Justin Mason, Daniel, Trevor, Kevin, Erin and Devon Leonard; and two great-grandchildren, James and Eva Robert.

She was the wife of the late John W. Leonard; daughter of the late Edmond and Melanie Hubert Dubuc; and sister of the late Louis Dubuc, Marcel Dubuc, Regina Smith and Blanche Kemper.

<B>LEONARD</B> — Friends of Eva Leonard, who died Saturday, March 8, 2008, will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Morrisville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the <B>J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel</B>, Morrisville.Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter, 325 Chestnut St., Suite 1120, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
