First Spring Star Parties, sponsored by the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh, is planned at 8 p.m. today and Saturday at the Nicholas E. Wagman Observatory at Deer Lakes Regional Park, Frazer Township, Allegheny County. Saturn and Mars will be observed. Events are held weather permitting.
