Well, here it is again, time for sun and fun, and out come all of the men (and Women) on their fantastic flying machines. Hair whipping in the breeze, no helmets, do rag on their heads whipping by me. And here I sit, belted in both lap and shoulder, steel frame A posts, safety glass surrounds me, yet If by chance I get pulled over,,I am going to be fined for not having my seat belt on? Where are the belts and harnesses to keep these guys on their bikes, not to mention helmets to keep their brains from spilling out onto the pavement. Seat belts are dangerous, they can lacerate a liver, rip up a spleen, cause internal bleeding. I choose not to wear a seat belt. Don't get me wrong,,,I love to ride on the back of a Harley, but I do wear a helmet, yet when I choose to drive, I'm restrained and am fined if I do not.
