Three little sisters,

dressed in pastel organdy,

Easter bonnets and white shoes,

carrying signs at May Crowning,

A cross, a heart, and anchor

for faith, hope and charity.

at the dinner table

asleep side by side

walking to school

opening Christmas presents

Three little sisters

red head, blonde, auburn haired

Three little sisters

Laughing, crying, teasing, praying,

Swimming, running, doing cartwheels,

Playing tag and hide and seek,

Jumping rope, playing cards and jacks.

Where did the time go?

Did we ever believe that one day

there would only be two?

Little sisters are not supposed to die?
