Michael and Vickie Metz

Vickie Carr and Michael Metz, both of Murrysville were united in marriage March 17 at the home of the bride's mother in Mars. Richard Settlemire, mayor of Mars, officiated. A reception followed at the Kaufmann House.

The bride is the daughter of Nancy Carr of Mars and the late Edward Carr. Parents of the bridegroom are Edward and JoAnne Metz of Grove City.

The honor attendant was Lauren Metz, daughter of the groom.

Performing the duties of best man was Evan Carr, son of the bride.

The bride is a 1983 graduate of Richland High School. She works for Amtrak in Lorton, Va.

The bridegroom graduated from Bishop Boyle High School in 1983 and works for Amtrak in Chicago.

The couple is making their home in Murrysville.
