Paul L. Brown
In loving memory of Paul L. Brown who was killed in a car accident twenty years ago on April 7, 1988
It's hard to believe that twenty years have gone by since I stood in our driveway and waved goodbye to you. At eleven years old, I could never have known that would be the last time I would ever see you.
They say time heals all wounds, but that's not true. The pain is as deep right now as the day you were taken away from us. My life was forever changed and will never be the same.
No one knows that I still cry at night when I say my prayers, because I miss you so much.
You were such a Cool Dad. It breaks my heart that you never got the chance to show your grandkids, all seven of them, how COOL you truly are. It hurts to know that my son learned how to say Pap and will never be able to say it to you.
Dad, I love you. Thank you for being the greatest dad ever! Thank you for memories that are still so vivid. They remind me of what a great time we had together and what an amazing father you were.
