Robert Orland Jack
Robert Orland Jack, 83, of Youngwood, Westmoreland County, formerly of Bruin, died Feb. 24 at the Walnut Ridge Nursing Home.
Born Nov. 24, 1924, in Fairview, he was the son of Robert and Pauline Murtland Jack.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member and past commander of the Petroleum Valley American Legion.
Mr. Jack was a member of the Parker United Methodist Church. He also belonged to the R.W. Grand Lodge F&AM for 59 years.
He was a former member of the Fairview Township Karns City School District and had been an insurance agent for State Farm in Chicora for more than 20 years.
Surviving are a son, the Rev. David S. Jack and his wife, Susan, of Youngwood; three grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew and Mark Jack; brothers, Larry Jack and his wife, Sue, of Butler and James Jack and his wife, Lavonne, of Titusville; and sisters, Dorothy Schoenfeld and her husband, William, of Canton, Ohio, Janet Gadsby and her husband, Jack, of Karns City and Carol Ann Jack of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Kelly Jack, and brothers, Donald, Claud and Harold Jack.
