Koska's bat leads BC3 to victory

Seneca Valley graduate Mike Koska went 4-for-5 with two RBI as the Butler County Community College baseball team blanked Westmoreland County Community College 12-0 Tuesday.

Butler graduate Josh Marchinoski picked up the win, throwing eight shutout innings and striking out five Westmoreland batters. He also was 2-for-3 at the plate with three RBI.

Mike Cuscino carded an 80 for Butler County Community College — good enough for second place individually — but the Pioneers were forced to forfeit their team golf match Tuesday at Penn State-New Kensington.Butler had only three golfers. A minimum of four were required to post a team score in the Lion Cub Spring Invitational, won by Westmoreland County Community College.Rich Buzas carded a 111 and Rory Park a 114 for BC3. John Hook of Penn State-New Kensington won the individual event with a 79.
