Fair, Turnbell

Scott and Amanda "Amy" Turnbell

Amanda "Amy"Fair and Scott Turnbell were united in marriage at 2 p.m. July 7 at East Brady Baptist Church in East Brady. The Rev. Thomas Pesci officiated. A reception followed at the Cranberry Highlands Golf Course.

The bride is the daughter of Kathleen Fair of East Brady and Edward Sr. and Linda Fair of Lake Alfred, Fla. Parents of the bridegroom are Ann and Denis Hoffman of Upper St. Clair and Richard and Wendy Turnbell of Easton, Md.

The bride was presented for marriage by her mother.

The maid of honor was Deborah Carlson of Parma, Ohio, and the matron of honor was Rebecca Boyle of Batesville, Ind. Bridesmaids included Debra Nunamaker of Kersey, Emily Steib of Concord, Ohio, and Dana Slone of Falls Church, Va. The flower girl was Abby Hollandsworth of Canonsburg.

Performing the duties of best man was James Graff of Pittsburgh. Ushers included Matthew Miller of Pittsburgh, Thomas Steib of Concord, Thomas Fair of East Brady, Edward Fair Jr. of Lake Alfred, Fla., and Jason Hollandsworth of Canonsburg. The ring bearer was Ayden Hollandsworth of Canonsburg.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Karns City High School and a 2006 graduate of Clarion (Pa.) University. She works at the A.W. Beattie Career Center in Allison Park.

The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Upper St. Clair High School. He works for B.C. Sports in Pittsburgh.

Following a honeymoon trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is making their home in Allison Park.
