William and Anna Mae Losser

In loving memory of our beloved William Losser

Five years Ago

and

Anna Mae Losser

Eleven Years Ago

Midnight stars gleaming on a lonely grave

Where sleeping, but not dreaming,

Lies the one we could not save.

In dreams we see their dear sweet face,

And kiss their cold, cold brow,

And whisper as we loved them then,

We love their memory now.

We think of them in silence

No eyes can see us weep,

But still within our aching hearts

Their memory we shall keep.

They bade not a last farewell,

They said goodbye to none,

The heavenly gates had opened,

A lovely voice said, "Come."

And with farewell unspoken

They gently entered home.

Our dear parents sleeps in silence

We would not disturb their rest

Sad and lonely are the hearts

Of those who loved then best.
