9:40 p.m. Thursday — Kurtis Steven Wentling, 25, of Butler was arrested on warrants in Butler and Allegheny counties while at St. Mark's Church on West Jefferson Street.

12:08 a.m. Friday — Ed Green, 20, of Sharon was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver and resisting arrest after he allegedly fled when police tried to arrest him on an out-of-state warrant following a traffic stop for speeding on North Main Street.5:33 p.m. Wednesday — Robert Wayne Taylor, 41, of Ford City was charged with endangering the welfare of children, recklessly endangering another person and reckless driving after he allegedly rammed his vehicle into another vehicle driven by Matthew Turner, 26, of Evans City on Route 422 at the Lyndora exit. Taylor, whose two children ages 1 and 2 were in his vehicle at the time of the accident, was later charged with harassment.

Saturday — Patrick Dempsey, 55, of Butler was charged with one count of bad checks after he allegedly issued a bad check to Eastwood Village Apartments for rent.2:15 a.m. Friday — James C. Fear, 21, of Burton, Ohio, was charged with driving under the influence after the car he was driving crashed into a utility pole along Route 173 in Slippery Rock Township. Fear and passenger Rachael E. Highfield, 21, of Wallingford, Pa., were wearing seat belts and were not injured.Wednesday — Someone stole $150 worth of copper pipe belonging to Donald Dambaugh, 59, of Evans City from a rental property on Prospect Road in Connoquenessing Township between Tuesday and Wednesday. Anyone with information should call police at 724-284-8100.9 p.m. March 12 — A truck driven by Earl R. Sherry Jr., 37, of West Sunbury crashed along Route 173 in Slippery Rock Township after an unknown vehicle allegedly rear-ended it and then fled.

7:25 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Todd M. Tyrell, 47, no address listed, crashed into a tree along Pony Farm Road in North Buffalo Township. Tyrell was wearing a seat belt and suffered unknown injuries.
