CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by the state police:

Jason Castilyn, 28, of Butler waived to court charges of forgery, theft, receiving stolen property, unlawful use of a computer and 12 counts of access device fraud, filed Dec. 20.

Cherie L. Frye, 50, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, driving too fast for conditions, careless driving and failure to keep right, filed Jan. 29.

Caroline E. Johnson, 34, of Parker waived to court two counts of simple assault, filed Dec. 5.

Joseph O. Kane, 42, of Parker waived to court charges of DUI, child endangerment, reckless endangerment, driving too fast for conditions, reckless driving, child not in safety seat, and not wearing a seat belt, filed Dec. 5.

Matthew C. McClaine, 33, of Butler waived to court a charge of DUI, filed Feb. 14.

Carrie L. Reid, 31, of Portersville waived to court two counts each of theft and receiving stolen property, filed Jan. 30.

CRANBERRY TWP — Interim District Judge Joseph O'Donnell, Jr. recently heard these cases:Bruce Allan Fountain, 52, of New Castle waived his case to court. He was charged June 4, 2007, by the state police with driving under the influence of combined alcohol and drugs, operating a vehicle without proper insurance, disregard of traffic lane and careless driving.Kenneth Langer, 46, of Pittsburgh waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 4 by the Cranberry Township police with retail theft, conspiracy to commit retail theft and defiant trespass.Neil G. Blazin, 26, of Cranberry Township waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 7 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol, not using low beams and careless driving.Brandon Jenko, 23, of Pittsburgh waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 4 by the Cranberry Township police with retail theft.Patricia Ann Webb, 42, of Aliquippa, Beaver County, waived her case to court. She was charged Jan. 3 by the Cranberry Township police with driving under the influence of alcohol and disorderly conduct.

EVANS CITY — District Judge Wayne Seibel recently heard these cases:Patricia B. Rippee, 57, of Gibsonia, Allegheny County, waived her case to court. She was charged Feb. 19 by the Mars police with driving under the influence of alcohol and not using low beams.Aaron Nicholas Terdle, 22, of Hidden Valley, Pa., waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 20 by the state police with driving under the influence of alcohol, disregard of traffic lane, failing to drive at safe speeds and careless driving.James Michael Smith, 20, of Butler waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 20 by the state police with filing false identification to law enforcement, disorderly conduct and purchasing alcohol by a minor.Jory Carl Melik, 18, of Butler waived his case to court. He was charged Feb. 20 by the state police with hindering apprehension/prosecution, disorderly conduct and driving with a suspended license.Thomas Gregory Baker, 43, of Butler had his case held to court. He was charged Feb. 19 by the Jackson Township police with making terroristic threats and flight to avoid apprehension/trial/punishment.
