Eleanor L. Sismour

Eleanor L. Sismour, 79, of Saxonburg, formerly of Hampton Township, Allegheny County, died Monday at the Concordia at Rebecca Residence, West Deer Township.

She was born July 4, 1928, to Edward and Irene Epstein Weir.

Mrs. Sismour had been a teaching assistant in the Hampton School District for years.

She was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Cabot and a former member of St. Catherine of Sweden Roman Catholic Church in Hampton Township.

She is survived by a son, Albert (Linda) Sismour Jr. of Casselberry, Fla.; two daughters, Carol (Robert) Lomb and Jean (Jack) Schempp, both of Hampton Township; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Ed (Kay) Weir of Illinois, Bob (Marie Angione) Weir of New York, Barry (Regina) Weir of California and Jim Weir of Florida; and her close friend, Marilyn Olm.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert C. Sismour Sr., who died Jan. 9, 2008, and a daughter, Donna (Leonard) Smetana.

<B>SISMOUR </B>— Friends of Eleanor L. Sismour, who died Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at <B>Herbert R. King Jr. Funeral Home</B>, Route 8 at 2841 Woodland Circle, Allison Park. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Catherine of Sweden Roman Catholic Church, 2445 Wildwood Road, Wildwood, with the Rev. Regis Farmer officiating. Burial will be at Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park.Memorial donations may be made to The Lighthouse Foundation, 1302 E.
