Morris, Ester
Jandice Morris of Volant and Joshua Ester of Edinboro were united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. July 20 at Portersville Presbyterian Church in Portersville. The Rev. Jerry Ester, father of the groom, officiated. A reception followed at the Betsy's Barn in Portersville.
The bride is the daughter of Joseph and Judy Morris of Volant. Parents of the bridegroom are the Rev. Jerry and JoAnne Ester of Edinboro.
The honor attendant was Ashley Jones of Atlanta. Bridesmaids included Elizabeth Morris of Chambersburg and the groom's sisters Becky Ester, Danielle Ester and Sadie Ester, all of Edinboro.
Serving the bridegroom as best man was Lynn Thompson of Union City. Ushers included the bride's brother Joseph Morris III of Chambersburg, Joel Repic of Aliquippa and Ryan Hess and Steven Pittman, both of Carollton, Ga.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Portersville Christian School and a 2006 graduate of Toccoa Falls College. She works for the Department of Family and Children in Toccoa, Ga.
The bridegroom graduated in 2002 from Girard Christian Academy and in 2006 from Toccoa Falls College. He is employed by Taylor Brothers in Toccoa.
Following a honeymoon trip to Colorado Springs, Colo., the couple is making their home in Toccoa.
