6:05 p.m. Sunday — Someone on a hillside apparently threw a rock that hit the windshield of a sport utility vehicle traveling west on Route 422 about one-half mile west of Mitchell HillRoad exit. Kevin Kapsar, 39, of Erie, the driver, was not hurt.A police news release said "a younger white male was seen atop the hill immediately after the incident." Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the barracks at 724-284-8100.4:30 p.m. Sunday — A pickup truck driven by Shawn Ramsey, 19, of Butler struck a ditch and tree alongOld State Route 422 in Franklin Township. Ramsey was cited for driving too fast for conditions.3:25 p.m. Sunday — Cars driven by Elice Stamp, 17, of Butler and Chad Watterson, 37, of Fenelton collided on Old Route 422 in Clearfield Township. Stamp faces a stop sign violation.12:07 a.m. Sunday — William Fierst, 41, of Sarver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after his minivan struck a tree and rolled onto its side along Alwine Road in Jefferson Township. A passenger in the van suffered moderate injuries.7:29 p.m. Saturday — Howard K. McDermott, 55, of Kittanning was arrested for suspicion of DUIafter his pickup crashed and overturned on Route 228 in Winfield Township.4:50 p.m. Saturday — Asa Fetter, 30, of Butler lost control of her vehicle on snow and ice-covered Route 8 in Clay Township and collided with another vehicle driven by Cynthia Swidzinski, 50, of West Sunbury. Fetter was treated at Butler Memorial Hospital for minor injuries.12:50 p.m. Saturday — An SUV driven by Edward Bucha, 53, of Volant, Lawrence County, struck a utility pole after sliding off snow and ice-covered Route 173 in Brady Township.12:35 a.m. Friday — Jeffery Strnad, 43, of Evans City was arrested for suspicion of DUI after his pickup struck a utility pole along Woodlands Road in Lancaster Township. The pole and wires collapsed, blocking the road, after the crash.Strnad, who suffered minor injuries, also was cited for driving too fast for conditions, careless driving and driving on the wrong side of the road.March 2 — Carol Kriberney reported a John Deere tractor and Troy-Bilt tiller were stolen between Nov. 1 and March 2 from her Bryan Road home in Concord Township.

9 p.m. Sunday — A burned vehicle owned by Edward Mahon of Sharpsburg, Allegheny County, was found along Pence Road in East Franklin Township. The 2005 Ford F-150 was a total loss.8 p.m. Saturday — Robert Hepfl, 33, of Adrian was struck by a thrown glass ashtray and beer mug at Tatters Bar in Sugarcreek Township. He received several cuts. Police are investigating.12:28 a.m. Saturday — Cory James Bowser, 20, of Worthington was charged with driving under the influence after a traffic stop along Route 410 in East Franklin Township. Two 17-year-olds with him were charged with underage drinking.
