Kroh 90th birthday
Concordia Lutheran Ministries Haven I resident Esther Kroh, formerly of Washington, Pa., celebrated her 90th birthday recently with a family cruise.
The former Esther Galbraith was born March 8, 1918, in Bellevue. She married Dr. Dean Kroh on Sept. 2, 1949.
She has three children, David Kroh of Wexford, Dean Kroh of Pittsburgh and June Kershner of Grants, N.M. Another son is deceased. She also has six grandchildren.
Prior to her retirement in 1987, Kroh worked as a Medical Missionary for Christian and Missionary Alliance. She and her husband worked as missionaries for 38 years.
She is active in the Concordia Haven Apartments Resident Advisory Committee, the CMA Missions Committee and the local Alliance Women.
She enjoys travel, reading and e-mailing with friends, family members and other missionaries.
