Concordia Lutheran Ministries Haven II resident Vivian Keracher, formerly of Dormont, celebrated her 85th birthday recently.

The former Vivian Leonhardt was born March 8, 1923, in Latrobe. She married John Keracher on June 11, 1971.

She has a son, Lawrence Noftz of Derry. She also has three grandsons and four great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Keracher retired in 1988 after working for 39 years as a secretary for the Pittsburgh Press Company/Pittsburgh Post Gazette.

She is a charter member at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Greensburg. She currently attends Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church in Butler. She enjoys word puzzles, picture puzzles, reading and watching television in her spare time.
