BUTLER TWP — District Judge Kevin O'Donnell recently heard these cases, filed by Butler Township police:

Rachel A. Johnson, 23, of Eighty Four, Washington County, waived to court charges of retail theft and conspiracy, filed Feb. 21.

Scott R. McNary, 23, of Washington, Pa., waived to court charges of identity theft, retail theft, conspiracy, false reports to law enforcement authorities and defiant trespass, filed Feb. 21.

Christopher D. Otto, 23, of Butler was held for court on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Jan. 8.

Robert L. Marburger Jr., 46, of Renfrew waived to court a charge of DUI, filed Jan. 7.

Joseph W. Powers II, 54, of Butler waived to court charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license-DUI related, careless driving, a lane violation and not using turn signals, filed Dec. 26.

George A. Schaffner Jr., 41, of Butler was held for court on charges of DUI, reckless driving, not using turn signals and a lane violation, filed Dec. 31.

Michael W. Sosigian, 33, of Butler pleaded guilty to charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, filed Jan. 22. Sosigian was ordered to pay $546.50 in fines and court costs.

Michael J. Young, 32, of Butler pleaded guilty to charges of driving with a suspended license-DUI related, driving without registration, and an open container violation, filed Dec. 13. Young was ordered to pay $1,210 in fines and court costs.

CHICORA — District Judge Lewis Stoughton recently heard these cases filed by state police:Jennifer Rose Bellis, 24, of Ford City waived to court charges of simple assault, endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person, filed Oct. 18.Tammy Burk, 33, of Butler waived to court a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, filed Oct. 3.Candice Cozin, 39, of Butler waived to court charges of arson, criminal mischief, causing catastrophe and fraud of insurance claim, filed Dec. 31.Michael Andrew Deal, 27, of Worthington waived to court a charge of receiving stolen property, filed Nov. 15.Justin Fresh, 39, of Bruin pleaded guilty to a charge of disorderly conduct, filed Jan. 18. Fresh was ordered to pay $135.50 in fines and court costs.Janet JoAnn John, 47, of Kittanning waived to court charges of retail theft and conspiracy to commit retail theft, filed Jan. 7.Joseph P. Gaiser, 21, of Parker waived to court charges of criminal conspiracy and two counts each of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, filed Jan. 14.Brenton Gerstner, 22, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of receiving stolen property, filed Dec. 31. Gerstner was ordered to pay $445 in fines and court costs.Michael Paul Kuhrt, 21, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, disregard of traffic lanes and no inspection, filed Aug. 31.Mercedez McIntyre, 20, of Slippery Rock waived to court a charge of retail theft, filed Nov. 19.Celeste McKruit, 47, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence and driving at unsafe speed, filed Oct. 29.Charles Parsons, 28, of North Washington waived to court charges of criminal conspiracy and two counts each theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, filed Jan. 16.Ronald James Stutz, 52, of Butler waived to court charges of driving under the influence, disregard of traffic lanes, stop sign violation and careless driving, filed Jan. 3.Ashley Vlassich, 21, of Butler pleaded guilty to a charge of receiving stolen property, filed Dec. 31. Vlassich was ordered to pay $245 in fines and court costs.Gary Waddell, 45, of Indiana, Pa., pleaded guilty to charges of receiving stolen property, driving under suspension and driving without proper insurance, filed April 18. Waddell was ordered to pay $781 in fines and court costs.
