Corruption case ends in probation
Glenn Bollinger arrived in Butler County Judge William Shaffer's courtroom Wednesday looking very distinguished in a navy blue suit with an American flag tie and an American flag lapel pin.
Bollinger, 78, of 1020 W. Penn St. left the courtroom sentenced to 60 months of probation and $2,000 in court costs for two counts of corruption of minors.
He pleaded no contest to both counts stemming from the testimony of two girls, then 9 and 10, who said Bollinger had improperly touched them, and forced one of them to improperly touch him.
These incidents occurred both in his home and in his car.
The girls also said Bollinger exposed himself to them while they were in his house. The incidents took place in 2006.
The girls said they reported the incidents to their parents, who contacted Butler Police and Butler County Children and Youth Services.
