Scott McAnallen was promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel in the Army at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.He recently returned from a 15-month deployment in Iraq with the 25th Infantry Division.He is a 1986 graduate of Butler High School and a 1990 alumnus of Clarion University.McAnallen resides in Miliana, Hawaii, with his wife, Jennifer, and their two children.He is the son of Beverly McAnallen of East Butler and the late Craig McAnallen.
Air Force Reserve Master Sgt. <B>David Minteer </B>has retired from the Air Force Reserve after more than 23 years of service.The 1977 alumnus of Worthington High School is the son of Karl Minteer of Worthington.Prior to retiring, he was the personnel relocations superintendent for the 920th Rescue Wing, Patrick Air Force Base, Cocoa Beach, Fla., where he was responsible for the processing of discharges, reassignments and updates to the military personnel data system. He also obtained guidance and coordinated the processing of personnel actions with higher headquarters.During his career, he served on active and reserve duty at several locations, including Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi, Miss.; Incirlik Air Base, Adana, Turkey; Norton Air Force Base, San Bernardino, Calif.; March Air Reserve Base, Riverside, Calif.; Pittsburgh Air Reserve Station; and Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla.After retiring, he will continue his Department of Defense civilian employment with the 45th Space Communications Squadron at Patrick Air Force Base.
