Ron Geibel graduated summa cum laude from Edinboro University recently, earning a bachelor of fine arts degree.While at the university, he was named to the dean's list each semester. He completed a student teaching program in Erie.A2003 graduate of Butler High School, he is the son of Joseph and Brenda Geibel of Clearfield Township.Geibel is attending the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn.———

James Preston of Butler has earned a doctorate of education degree in curriculum and instruction at Indiana University of Pennsylvania.The son of Richard Preston and the late Nancy Preston, he completed both his bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics education at IUP.
