Pierce, Briggs

An Aug. 23 wedding is being planned by Pittsburgh residents Nicole Pierce and John Briggs.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Thomas and Karen Pierce of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are David and Marcia Briggs of Erie.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Knoch High School and a 2003 graduate of Washington and Jefferson College. She works as an assistant controller for Body Media in Pittsburgh.

Her fiancé graduated in 1995 from McDowell High School and in 1999 from Penn State University. He works as an audit manager for Schneider Downs and Co. in Pittsburgh.
