Airman 1st Class

Nicholas Cypher, son of Cindy Cypher of Jefferson Township and the late Bruce Cypher, has been promoted to the rank of senior airman six months ahead of schedule.He is stationed at Langley Air Force Base, Va., where he serves in the intelligence division-imagery analysis.The 2003 alumnus of Knoch High School joined the Air Force in 2006.———

Marine Corps Pfc. <B>Martin Sova</B>, son of Derrick Sova of Gibsonia and Lori Malarik of Ambridge, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C., and was promoted to his current rank.Sova is a 2007 graduate of Ambridge High School.———<B>Anthony Green </B>has been promoted to the rank of airman first class in the Air Force.Green, an aircraft structural maintenance specialist, is assigned to the 437th Airlift Wing, Charleston Air Force Base, North Charleston, S.C.He has served in the military for three years.He is the son of Linus Green of Butler; and the foster son of Randy Stamm of Butler.The airman is a 2004 graduate of Butler High School.———

Air Force 2nd Lt. <B>Tania Bryan </B>has deployed to Southwest Asia in the Persian Gulf region to support the mission of Operation Enduring Freedom as a member of the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing.The servicemember is regularly assigned to the 311th Human Systems Wing, Brooks City Base, San Antonio, Texas.Bryan is a public affairs deputy chief with six years of military service.She is the daughter of Joe and Debbie Ehrhart of Vermilion, Ohio. Her grandparents are William J. Ehrhart and Wilma Gordon of Evans City.Her husband, Matt, is the son of Jim and Jeanne Bryan of Madera, Calif.
