Jessica Morgan and Michael Whaley Jr., both of El Paso, Texas, were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Dec. 8 in Gatlinburg, Tenn. The Rev. DeWayne Welch officiated. A reception followed at the Victorian Gardens Chapel Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Dalton and Betty Morgan of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Deloris and Michael Whaley Sr. of Covington, Tenn.
The honor attendant was Maryann Richards of Alexandria, Va. The flower girl was Angelle Codispot of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Michael Whaley Sr. Ushers included Greyson Whaley of El Paso.
The bride attended Butler High School and Gannon University. She serves as a captain in the Army.
The bridegroom attended Covington High School and Freed-Hardeman University. He serves as a lieutenant in the Army.
The couple is making their home in El Paso.
