1:22 p.m. Friday — A Colleen Street resident returned home to find a burglar in the house. The unknown suspect got out of the house through an upstairs bathroom window and was last seen running down an alley.The Saxonburg K-9 unit and state police assisted in the search.State Police, Butler2:15 a.m. Sunday — Eric Claycomb, 20, of Osterburg, Bedford County, was arrested for driving under the influence at Harmony and Branchton roads in Slippery Rock Township.9:05 a.m. Saturday — A sport utility vehicle driven by David John Monroe, 45, of Pittsburgh struck two trees and rolled onto its side after skidding off slush-covered Freeport Road in Jefferson Township. Police said Monroe was cited for driving with worn tires.8:50 a.m. Saturday — A car driven by Megan Anderson, 17, of Boyers crashed into an embankment on Route 58 in Marion Township. Police said Anderson was cited for an undisclosed traffic violation.8:05 a.m. Saturday — Three people were injured when a car driven by Ahmed Tabib, 57, of Glen Allen, Va., struck an embankment and rolled over several times, landing on its roof on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township.Passenger Joann Tabib, 54, of Glen Allen, was thrown out of the car. She, the driver and Helen Fritz, 81, of Mars, another passenger, were treated at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh for undisclosed injuries. Police said Ahmed Tabib was cited for driving too fast for conditions.3:18 a.m. Saturday — Matthew McClaine, 33, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of DUIon Route 8 in Center Township.2:20 p.m. Friday — A car driven by Alyssa Herman, 17, of Valencia struck a utility pole along Brownsdale Road in Forward Township. Police said the teenager fled after the crash. Herman was cited for driving too fast for conditions and failure to immediately notify police of an accident.Noon Tuesday — Daniel Link II, 25, of Saxonburg was arrested in connection with the theft of a washing machine from the front porch of a house on Oak Leaf Drive in Jefferson Township. Police said the washing machine was later sold for scrap at a nearby salvage yard.11:54 a.m. Jan. 22 — A pickup truck driven by Donna L. Delu, 22, of Butler and a van driven by Michael Shultz, 59, of Nanty Glo, Cambria County collided on Route 8 in Center Township.

8:40 a.m. Friday — Jean Stroup, 52, of East Brady lost control of her car on slush-covered Route 68 in Madison Township, and collided with a minivan driven by Norman Connor Jr., 69, of Parker. The van rolled onto its side after the collision.Police said both drivers were treated at Clarion Hospital for undisclosed injuries.8:01 a.m. Friday — Apickup truck driven by Cassandra O'Neil, 18, of Emlenton and a car driven by Pamela Stewart, 53, of Parker collided on Route 478 in Richland Township.
