MONICA GLOMB (Mars), a freshman pitcher for the Kutztown University softball team, picked up two victories at the University of South Carolina-Aiken Early Bird Classic last weekend. She tossed a pair of complete-game 4-2 decisions against No. 3-ranked Columbus State and Georgia College. Kutztown is ranked 21st in Division II entering the season.•

KATE DeGEORGE (Butler) was a member of two winning women's track relay teams for Thiel College at the Baldwin-Wallace College Invitational this past weekend. DeGeorge helped the 800-meter relay team with a time of 1:47.26 and the 1,600 relay team at 4:15.61.•

DEREK WORKMAN (Mars), a freshman on the Thiel College men's track team, captured first place in the mile run with a time of 4:39.15 and was fourth in the 1,000 (2:48.60) at the Baldwin-Wallace College Invitational Friday.
