Lou Rita Cassioli

Lou Rita Cassioli, 76, of Butler, died Tuesday morning at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.

Born in West Winfield, Nov. 17, 1931, she was a daughter of Richard A. and Jana P. Ekas Keasey.

She was a homemaker and was a former teachers' aide at the Butler Catholic School for seven years.

Mrs. Cassioli was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

She is survived by two sons, Terry M. Cassioli and his wife, Chris Cassioli, of Butler and Timothy J. Cassioli of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Dr. Sheila Cassioli Cooper and her husband, Bailey Cooper, of Wilmington, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. Paul (Carol) Lichanec of Fenelton; a brother, Duane P. Keasey of North Carolina; and two grandchildren, Lauren and Thomas Cassioli, both of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Romeo E. "Gig" Cassioli, who died March 28, 1998; a daughter, Lauren Cassioli, who died Dec. 10, 1983; a brother; and a sister.

<B>CASSIOLI</B> — There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian burial for Lou Rita Cassioli, who died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Center Avenue, with the Rev. James Dolan officiating. Burial will be at the St. Michael Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society.Arrangements are by <B>Martin Funeral Home </B>and are available at www.martinfh.net.
