R. Craig Welsh, 78, of Middlesex Township died Sunday in Sunnyview Home.

Born July 31, 1929, in Penn Township, he was the son of Francis G. and Jennie McKown Welsh, Sr.

An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was the owner of Welsh Lawn and Garden Supply on Route 8 in Middlesex Township.

Survivors are a sibling, Shirley Johnston of Adams Township; and nephews and nieces, Rodger Welsh of Penn Township, Gary Welsh of Jefferson Township, John Johnston and Terri Francis, both of Adams Township, and John Minto and Bill Minto, both of Butler.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley K. Minto Welsh, who died Sept. 25, 2005, and a brother, Francis G. Welsh, Jr.
