Miller, Gaither
A May 30 wedding is being planned by Barbara Miller and Thomas "Kenn" Gaither, both of Chapel Hill., N.C.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frazier Miller of Bluefield, Va. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Gaither of Prospect.
The bride-elect is a 1994 graduate of Bluefield High School; a 1998 and 2003 graduate of West Virginia University, earning bachelor's and master's degrees; and a 2006 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a doctoral degree. She works as an assistant professor at Elon University in Elon, N.C.
Her fiancé graduated in 1988 from Slippery Rock High School; 1993 and 2000 from the University of Pittsburgh, earning bachelor's and master's degrees; and in 2004 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a doctoral degree. He also works as an assistant professor at Elon University.
