Walter S. Moculski, 81, of Renfrew died early Saturday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 14, 1926, in Lawrenceville, and was the son of Frank and Stella Idzkowski Moczulski.

He was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Lyndora. He was an avid car enthusiast and loved gardening and repairing things.

His family had taken care of him at his home for many years.

He retired from the Punch Department at Pullman Standard and had worked in the Shell Shop during the war.

Surviving are a daughter, Anne Marie Kriess and her husband, Robb, of Butler, and two granddaughters, Angela and Jennifer Kriess.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Smaretsky Moculski, whom he married July 26, 1958, and who died Sept. 25, 2002; a brother, Frank Moculski; and four sisters, Connie Emminger, Ann Davidson, Helen Dulya and Jean Czyzyk.

<B>MOCULSKI</B> — Friends of Walter S. Moculski, who died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Steve Neff.
