Virginia L. "Billy" "Budz" Norris, 64, of Butler died at 8:36 p.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 24, 1943, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late William J. Manny and the late Virginia Louise Reges Manny Barger.

She attended the First United Methodist Church.

She received her nurses aide training from Sunnyview Home and had worked at Valencia Woods Nursing Home in Mars. Previously, she worked at Bobbie Brooks and the mushroom mine.

She loved entering her crafts and vegetables at the Butler Farm Show. She loved flowers and enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren. She was known for her talent of wrapping presents.

Surviving are her husband, Calvin Norris, whom she married Sept. 14, 1979; two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Dodie Elaine) Matuke of Butler and Jodie Lee Gamble of Shaler Township; a son, David Leo Caldwell Jr. of New Kensington; six grandchildren, and a brother, Clifford Manny of Chicora.

She was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

"Billy" "Budz" Norris, who died Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 p.m. until the service at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St. The Rev.
