Verne L. Walker Skinner, 95, formerly of Connoquenessing, died Sunday at Sunnyview Home in Butler Township.

Born July 31, 1912, in Renfrew, she was the daughter of Alexander and Lauretta Rasely Walker.

Ahomemaker, Mrs. Skinner was a member of the White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church in Renfrew.

She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Maqueda Chapter 421 in Butler, the ladies auxiliary of the Connoquenessing Fire Department and the Ella Gyle Missionary Circle at her church.

Surviving are her sister, Myrtle Shannon of Renfrew, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Skinner was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Glenford Skinner, who died Aug. 15, 1969; a son, Charles V. Skinner; a brother, and three sisters.
