Thornbury, Klingensmith

Abby and Jesse Klingensmith

Abby Thornbury and Jesse Klingensmith, both of Lynchburg, Va., were united in marriage Oct. 6 at West Sunbury United Presbyterian Church in West Sunbury. The Rev. Wayne Bell officiated. A reception followed at the Butler Country Club.

The bride is the daughter of John and Debby Thornbury of West Sunbury. Parents of the bridegroom are Bill and Carla Klingensmith of Clarion.

The matron of honor was the bride's sister Erin Hartle of West Sunbury. The maid of honor was Tori Haraburda of Pittsburgh. Bridesmaids included the groom's sister Brittany Klingensmith of East Stroudsburg, Natalie Young of Cleveland and Tristan Donley of Plymouth, Mich. The flower girl was infant Lucy Hartle, escorted by her father Clint Hartle of West Sunbury.

Performing the duties of best man was Jess Taylor of Clarion. Ushers included Terry Bowersox of Woodbridge, Va.; Cory Trivelpiece of State College; Rob Liszewski of Barnegat, N.J.; and Greg Nallo of Twinsburg, Ohio.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Moniteau High School and a 2004 graduate of Penn State University, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. She is employed at Wiley and Wilson Engineers in Lynchburg, Va.

The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Clarion-Limestone High School and in 2004 and 2006 from Penn State University, earning a bachelor of science degree in mechanical and nuclear engineering and a master's degree in nuclear engineering. He works at Areva Nuclear Power in Lynchburg.

Following a honeymoon trip to England and Ireland, the couple is making their home in Lynchburg.
