Phyllis Suzanne Kovach, 76, of Butler died Monday at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia Lutheran Ministries in Jefferson Township.

Born Oct. 24, 1931, in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of Leonard E. Turner and Grayce V. Stanton.

Mrs. Kovach worked at Nationwide Insurance for more than 30 years and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, the Moose, the Highfield Community Center and Tanglewood Senior Center.

She enjoyed dancing, gardening, cooking, housekeeping and traveling.

Mrs. Kovach is survived by her husband, Peter Kovach, whom she married on June 6, 1952; a son, Dennis L. Kovach of Butler; a daughter, Lynne A. Kovach of Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother and her aunts and uncles.

<B>KOVACH — </B>Friends of Phyllis Suzanne Kovach, who died on Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday at the <B>THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, </B>124 E. North St., Butler. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with services one hour prior and the Rev. Robert Huber officiating.
