Omar Ifft
Omar Glenn Ifft, 68, of Evans City, passed away Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026, while under the care of AHN Wexford Hospital.
Born June 7, 1958, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Richard G. and Margie Lefever Ifft.
Omar graduated from Seneca Valley High School in 1977. He then went on to get a bachelor’s degree in agricultural science from Penn State University in 1981. Omar was of the Christian faith. He worked for many years as a loan officer at Farm Credit. Omar was a third-generation turkey farmer until an accident in 2012 that caused him to be quadriplegic. Above everything, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, DeAnn (Yoho) Ifft; his son, Jacob “Jake” (Arden) Ifft; his daughter, Dayna Eichenauer; his grandchildren, Grayson and Ashby Martin; his sisters, Linda Sontag and Donna (Bob) Wilhite; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and two granddogs, Sparki and Sylvie.
IFFT — Friends and family of Omar Glenn Ifft, who died Sunday, Sept. 6, 2026, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6. to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
Additional visitation time will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, also at the funeral home.
