Norbert F. Musher
Norbert F. "Chappy" Musher, 86, of Zelienople, formerly of the North Hills, died Friday at UPMC Passavant in Cranberry Township.
Born March 6, 1921, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Gregory and Eleanor Wahlraub Musher.
Mr. Musher was a member of St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church in Zelienople, where he belonged to the Senior Group.
Aveteran of the Navy, he served in World War II.
He worked for 52 years at Pannier Corp. in Pittsburgh.
He was a fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers.
Mr. Musher is survived by his wife, Dolores "Dee" Gimber Musher, whom he married Sept. 27, 1952; four sons, Jeffrey J. Musher and his wife, Betty, and Mark Musher and his wife, Polly, all of Zelienople, and Norbert C. Musher and his wife, Barbara, and Michael Musher, all of Perrysville; and two daughters, Dolores Pegher and her husband, Jay, of Wexford and Donna Musher of Perrysville.
He also is survived by a brother, Jerome Musher of Wexford; a sister, Mercedes Mages of Sewickley; seven grandsons, Andy Pegher, Christopher Musher, Bradley Pegher, Peter Musher, Tyler Musher, Jeffrey T. Musher and Joseph Musher; and many nieces and nephews.
<B>MUSHER</B> — Friends of Norbert F. "Chappy" Musher, who died Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.
