Kerstetter, Flick

Sandra and Nathan Flick

Chicora residents Sandra Kerstetter and Nathan Flick were united in marriage at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 29 at First English Lutheran Church in Butler. The Rev. James Dollhopf officiated. Areception was held in Holiday Hall at the Butler Days Inn.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph Kerstetter of Birdsboro and Joan Krempa of Pasadena, Md. Parents of the bridegroom are Paul and Jeanne Flick of Karns City.

The maid of honor was Kathryn Teats of Schwenksville. Bridesmaids included Renee Ruk of Mars, the bride's sister Autumn Long-Kerstetter of Conshohocken, Holly Dunlap of Chicora and Laura Teats of Mifflinburg.

Serving the bridegroom as best man was Michael Macurak of Karns City. Groomsmen included Ben Taylor and Jason Dunlap, both of Chicora; the bride's brother Andrew Kerstetter of Akron; and Mike Slaughenhaupt of Petrolia.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Perkiomen Valley High School and a 2003 graduate of Temple University, where she earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science. She works as an admissions counselor at St. Barnabas Communities in Gibsonia.

The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Karns City High School. He is employed at Armstrong in Butler.

Following a honeymoon trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is making their home in Chicora.
