Many years ago i might have agreed with you but my son is addicted to crack coccaine. You just dont realize the pain that goes with that. He had problems and once he found crack they doubled. He was a good worker and when he was only smoking pot he held a job. now he can't even hold a jod for a month. Please think about how you would feel if it was your sister brother niece or uncle, it is a long sad road and nobody wants to go there. I guess you don't know the pain until it hits home. Think about it
