James G. Monti
James G. Monti, 58, of Economy died Sunday at UPMC Passavant Cranberry hospital.
Born June 22, 1949, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of William J. Monti of Pittsburgh and the late Nicolena Gattuso Monti.
Mr. Monti was an avid volleyball and wallyball player and a sports fanatic. He also was a superb euchre player and a crossword enthusiast.
He was a field engineer at Duquesne Light Co.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Sandra L. Monti, whom he married Sept. 30, 1995; three daughters, Melissa Corso and her husband, Domenic, of Wexford, Lori Joint and her husband, Ken, of Erie and Gina Kosak and her husband, Dan, of Zelienople; two sons, William J. Monti and his wife, Kathryn, of Kilbuck Township, Allegheny County, and Jason Rape and his wife, Melissa, of Port Orange, Fla.; a sister, Linda Monti of Pittsburgh; three grandchildren, Benjamin, Ryan and Megan Monti; and six step-grandchildren.

Monti, who died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Services</B>, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. A blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. William Dorner of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church officiating.
