Grammar
Why does it always come back to grammar and spelling here? That is not the issue at hand. People out there, that have trouble with grammar and spelling, have as much of a right to express their feelings and concerns as anybody else. I have a question about legalizing drugs. How will the costs for health insurance premiums, car insurance premiums, and homeowners insurance premiums be affected? My vision is that they will all go up, as there will be an increase in addictions leading to more robberies, health care issues, the need for counseling for the addict and their families, car accidents because the reality is that people will use them and then get behind the wheel. Having come from a family that has two living addicts, I know the toll that it takes on a family, not just emotionally (Though that is reason enough to keep it illegal.) but also financially. (Not being able to work, pay bills, etc.) I personally don't want the freedom to use drugs, nor do I want my children to have that freedom. It is hard enough to raise children today. Do we have to add another element? The only people that legalizing drugs will help are those that want to use, and those that need it medically. I wonder, is there anyone out there that thinks that drugs should be legalized and has no interest in using them? If so, I suggest that you attend a few meetings with the families of addicts or better yet the families of addicts who have overdosed and are dead or are in jail. How are other countries costs affected by legalizing drugs? Is there any study out there that is complete and current? I would like to read it, if anyone can refer me.
