Denver 'Denny' Cloak

Denver R. "Denny" Cloak, 67, of Kittanning died Saturday at UPMC Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born Nov. 25, 1940, in Kittanning, he was the son of the late Denver D. Cloak and Ruby Yount Cloak Hutson. He also was preceded in death by his stepfather, Arnold "Pete" Hutson.

He retired from Parker Appliances in Chicora.

Mr. Cloak was a member of the Friday Night Ball and Chain League. He liked hunting, old vintage cars and woodworking.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Emigh Cloak, whom he married Nov. 28, 1959; two sons, Randall R. and Brett A. Cloak, both of Kittanning; two daughters, Yvonne L. Cloak of Rural Valley and Melissa J. Hulsey of Kittanning; 14 grandchildren, including Randy Cloak Jr., who was raised by his grandparents, and five great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are three brothers, Donald Cloak of Hermitage, Larry Cloak of Kittanning and Jay Hutson of Brunswick, Ohio; two sisters, Shirley Slagle of Georgia and Kathy Rosenberger of Kittanning; and several nieces and nephews.

<B>CLOAK</B> — Friends of Denver R. "Denny" Cloak, who died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home</B>, Kittanning. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. John Snyder officiating. Burial will be at the Kittanning Cemetery.
